Description: Sunset Tours at the park are back. Our sunset tours are offered the same evenings as the park’s Summer Concert series. This allows us to enjoy a little music in the background of our adventure together. Launch out of Quiet Waters Park’s Harness Creek via Stand Up Paddleboard, Single Kayak or Double Kayak. Paddle out to the South River and east and into the Tranquil Loden’s Pond. Return to the South River travelling west into the Sunset and return to the pier using lights.
Considerations: This is a 2+ hour tour. Winds and boat wakes are often encountered. We paddle rain or shine. It is encouraged that children aged 8-14 years old ride in double kayaks with a parent or guardian. Children aged 14 and up are offered the option to paddle solo. This tour is planned with beginners and novices in mind. Brief Instruction is offered and safety is always the first priority. Arrive early as the park will be crowded.
What to Bring (suggested):
Drinking water, snack, towel, change of clothes, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, water shoes, waterproof container or bag, tethered camera, waterproof flash light, croakies.
